Bekele Kachara

"We met Bekele Kechara through his close friend, Bekele Yutute, another of the group of all-star smallholders that Crop to Cup has been buying from since Ethiopia reforms permitted direct export by smallholder farmers. Bekele is a quality focused producer whose farm in Murago at 2350 meters produced the 15th place Cup of Excellence coffee in 2022. The father of 11 children from one wife, Bekele brought in his Belaye, his eldest son at 24 and fourth child, to manage his drying station in Murago where he produces natural and anaerobic natural coffee."
